Role Description
This role involves managing the end-to-end process for WIC vendor administration, ensuring compliance with state regulations and providing support and training to vendors.
• Manages the end-to-end process to effectively review, select, authorize, train, monitor and determine sanctions and terminations of WIC vendors.
• Works with WIC Vendor Analytics & Cost Containment Manager to monitor vendor activity for compliance.
• Collaborates with DPH Office of Inspector General, General Counsel, and WIC Vendor Analytics & Cost Containment Manager for vendor applications and compliance monitoring.
• Creates vendor correspondence including sanctions and denials.
• Completes activity logs/reports/reviews of work with management for effective vendor administration.
• Provides subject matter expertise related to vendor administration for training material development.
• Delivers vendor training and support on relevant policies and procedures.
• Provides insight on updating WIC policies and guidelines related to vendor procedures.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to share best practices and improve vendor administration.
• Participates in the Vendor Advisory Group to enhance communication and collaboration on vendor-related policies.
• Performs other assignments as required.
Qualifications
• Associate degree in communication, English, or public relations from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience related to area of assignment; or
• One (1) year of experience required at the lower level Busi Support Analyst 2 (GSP131).
• Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications may be substituted.
