Help Develop Our Director of Construction Into a $50M+ Leader and Scale Our Company to $65M
About Us
We are a fast-growing construction and real estate development company based in Arkansas, specializing in:
Ground-up residential construction
Build-to-Rent (BTR) communities
Infill development
Heavy rehab and value-add projects
We are on pace to complete ~$7.5M in revenue this year and have the pipeline to reach $65M+ within the next 3 years. We run on EOS and have a strong Director of Construction (Ryan) who is talented, hardworking, and eager to grow — but is still transitioning from a “hands-on operator” to a “leader of leaders.”
Our Biggest Needs
We specifically want someone who can help Ryan strengthen:
Leadership presence and confidence
Delegation and empowerment of supers/PMs
Time management and prioritization
Accountability systems for the field
Driving revenue through customer-job pipeline management
Understanding the levers of growth from $7M → $20M → $50M+
This role is not about doing the work — it’s about sharpening Ryan into a leader who can run a high-volume construction organization.
What We Are Looking For
A seasoned operator who has personally built, scaled, or exited a $50M–$150M construction company, ideally in residential, multifamily, spec, or BTR.
We want someone with real battle scars — someone who knows what breaks at scale, knows how to build teams, and understands how a Director of Construction must evolve.
Engagement Scope (1–2 Hours Per Week)
Weekly 60-minute call with Ryan (and occasionally the Owner)
Light asynchronous follow-up or review
High-level coaching around:
Leadership & communication
Delegation frameworks
Running a true PM/field hierarchy
Creating accountability without micromanagement
Scalable scheduling & build-cycle oversight
Forecasting and managing customer-job pipelines
Revenue-driving behaviors vs. technician behaviors
Developing PMs, supers, and future leaders
Assign simple weekly action items (“homework”)
Check in the following week to reinforce implementation
This is NOT a tactical position.
You will not be asked to build SOPs, run construction operations, or complete project tasks.
Your value is your pattern recognition and ability to develop leaders.
Ideal Background
Former CEO/COO/VP of Construction for a $50M–$150M company
Deep experience in new construction or BTR
Has coached or developed operations leaders into senior roles
Strong understanding of revenue, margins, and pipeline forecasting
EOS familiarity is a plus
What Success Looks Like
Ryan grows into a confident, capable, $50M+ construction leader
He delegates effectively and stops owning every task
The job pipeline is consistently full and moving
We hire and develop supers/PMs ahead of growth
Build cycle improves and margins stabilize or increase
The business scales without chaos or burnout
Time Commitment & Duration
1–2 hours per week
3–6 month initial contract with potential continuation
