About the Role
As a Sr. Associate in the Centralized Timekeeping team, you will specialize in time and attendance management via chat/phone, providing resolution to queries raised by Amazon employees and addressing their time-related concerns. Your primary focus will be on resolving incoming calls/chats, serving as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and the HR community. You will also participate in continuous improvement process projects, leveraging your understanding of Amazon's attendance policies, employee groups, and applicable state and federal laws to drive success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage time and attendance matters for buildings across the network, ensuring fast, accurate, and reliable data entry
- Provide resolution to queries raised by Amazon employees via phone calls or chats, addressing their time-related concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in continuous improvement process projects, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve service levels
- Develop and maintain a keen understanding of Amazon's attendance policies, employee groups, and applicable state and federal laws
- Collaborate with the Time and Attendance Manager or Time and Attendance POC to achieve team goals and objectives
- Utilize Microsoft Office products and applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Excel, to manage data and communicate with stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 6+ months of human resources experience, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices
- 6+ months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment
- 6+ months of Microsoft Office products and applications experience, with proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- High school or equivalent diploma, with a strong foundation in mathematics and communication skills
- Experience working in confidential environments, with a high level of discretion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
