Key Responsibilities
- Plan and develop high-quality content for versatility, reliability, and performance, ensuring seamless data analysis and visualization.
- Troubleshoot complex Splunk issues using your expertise in advanced searching and dashboarding, providing timely resolutions to customers and stakeholders.
- Implement integrations with external applications and frameworks as needed, leveraging your knowledge of scripting languages like Python and JavaScript.
- Promote and educate our customer community on Splunk search, alert, and dashboard best practices, driving adoption and proficiency.
- Perform daily operational and community support tasks, ensuring prompt issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct data interpretation, normalization, and optimization, driving insights and value across the organization.
- Create and manage data objects, such as fields, extractions, tags, event types, queries, workflow actions, aliases, and macros, to support business needs.
- Arrange list-based reports and data model acceleration, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience creating advanced Splunk dashboards and searches, with a strong understanding of Splunk's Basic XML System and application structure.
- Scripting experience in languages like Python, JavaScript, or others, with the ability to apply this knowledge to automate tasks and drive innovation.
- Experience with Ansible, Git, and web architecture, with a strong understanding of how these technologies integrate with Splunk.
