Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our PST time zone Medicare Retiree Solution Customer Service Centers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for educating members on plan benefits, resolving inquiries with empathy, and ensuring every interaction meets our high service expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Educate plan benefits, answer questions, and resolve issues based on incoming telephone member contacts, providing personalized support and solutions.
• Utilize compliant documentation standards to ensure accurate and efficient issue resolution.
• Provide empathetic and member-centric service, exceeding our members' expectations and delivering a positive experience.
• Ensure that every member is shown respect, kindness, and receives thorough answers or resolutions to their questions.
• Maintain a high degree of adaptability, empathy, and patience in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A demonstrated ability to be empathetic and compassionate, with a strong desire to help others.
• The ability to apply patience and understanding in complex or challenging situations.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
• Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills to effectively manage member interactions.
• Or, equivalent military experience that has provided relevant skills and training.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application:

• Previous customer service experience, particularly in a healthcare or related industry.
• A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience that demonstrates your ability to learn and grow.

Training and Schedule

Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role. Training will last 11 weeks, Monday-Friday, with an 8-hour shift between 8am-6pm in your local time zone. After training, your shift schedule availability will range from 8am-6pm in your local time zone.
