Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI platform, utilizing various data and BI tools to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making
- Work in a fast-paced environment to analyze, design, develop, and deliver Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions, meeting tight deadlines and ensuring high-quality results
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Airflow, and other tools to support data integration and analytics
- Build ad-hoc reports to support more inquisitive data users and provide automation using Tableau
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders, IT resources, and other teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure efficient resolution of requests
- Communicate technical and business topics, as appropriate, in a 360-degree format, using written, verbal, and presentation materials as needed
- Develop, maintain, and recommend improvements to applications in the areas of standards, policies, compliance, and quality assurance practices; participate in design and code walkthroughs
- Take ownership of and manage the release process, ensuring timely and successful deployment of solutions
- Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and architectures, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in the company's data management and analytics capabilities
- Prioritize work based on the highest impact on the business, ensuring that solutions are aligned with company goals and objectives
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in creating data pipelines using Python/Airflow, with a strong understanding of data integration and analytics principles
- Experience with designing DataMart, Data Warehouse, database objects within relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Vertica), with a strong foundation in data modeling and database design
- Solid proficiency in SQL and query writing, with the ability to optimize queries for performance and efficiency
- Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong experience with creating dashboards and reports for C-level executives, with a focus on data visualization and storytelling
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Additional experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields, with a strong understanding of statistical modeling and data analysis techniques
