Job Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business and Information Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Tech & Digital project team, you will engage with the business, provide technical guidance and oversight, and play a crucial role in defining technology and service requirements to maximize the delivery of business value. Your expertise will help translate business needs into requirements that our team can use to design and develop innovative solutions. You will also coach and guide other analysts in business requirements gathering and develop best practices in business analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate a strong network of technology and business leaders, influencing teams to achieve tasks without formal authority and thriving in roles and processes that are not clearly defined.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight, leading moderately complex analysis, and supporting the development of business analysis best practices for the organization.
- Mentor team members on best practices and standards, recommending improvements to processes and technology that enhance team effectiveness.
- Support pre-project business problem elicitation, feasibility, and business case definition, working with the business to determine the real issue that needs to be solved or the opportunity to do things differently.
- Develop moderately complex business cases, ensuring benefits align with strategic and tactical business objectives, and support the business in technical and financial feasibility assessments.
- Perform process modeling, discovering and documenting as-is processes, identifying high-level solution options, and designing and modeling to-be processes, performing gap analysis, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Organize, prioritize, and communicate portfolio activities across teams, ensuring everyone is coordinated and organized to anticipate and mitigate risks or challenges.
- Provide business change management support, ensuring benefits, impact, and release of all changes are tracked and managed, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide project management and program management support, delivering subject matter expertise, supporting the development and maintenance of project timelines, and assisting in identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in business analysis techniques, such as information gathering methods, requirements documentation, process modeling, and process mapping.
- Experience managing and prioritizing projects, working seamlessly with various teams and stakeholders in a matrix organization, and demonstrated ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not defined, constantly evolving, and broad through self-reliance and resourcefulness.
- A four-year degree in a field such as Information Technology, Business, or a similar field, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience working in a digital transformation environment, with a focus on innovation and immersive guest experiences.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions.
