Job Overview
In this role, you will be working directly with local businesses to understand their needs and aspirations, customizing each sale to help them manifest their goals. You will be responsible for promoting advertising space on blithequark to nearby companies, educating business owners about the cost of our advertising platform, and managing a pipeline of clients. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales goals, stay organized, and manage your time effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, strategize, and efficiently promote blithequark advertising programs via a high volume of outbound sales calls – this role is 100% phone-based
- Reach out to as many companies as possible, working one of the following schedules (in your local time): 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.; 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.; or 9:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
- Personally manage and maintain a pipeline of clients, ranging from dentists to florists to restaurant owners, all organized in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Become an expert in blithequark's advertising solutions, adapting product knowledge quickly to match customer needs, asking probing questions, and overcoming customer objections and rejection
- Achieve and consistently exceed month-to-month sales goals – strong work ethic and tenacity are key!
- Stay organized and manage your time effectively to complete your daily goals – this is a numbers game, and you're here to win
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer-facing experience OR a Bachelor's Degree
- No fear of the phone – you will be making a high volume of outbound sales calls
- Basic computer and email skills – we use Google Suite and provide a MacBook computer
- A work environment free of distractions – you will be working from home, so it's essential to have a dedicated workspace
- Potential to effectively prioritize tasks and manage independently without oversight
- Must possess current UK work authorization
