Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Post-Surgery Unit at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) in Medford, OR. As a Registered Nurse in our Post-Surgery Unit, you will have the opportunity to care for a wide variety of surgical patients, including General and Vascular surgery, ENT, GYN, and Urology surgeries. Our unit is a Comprehensive Center for Bariatric Surgery certified through The Metabolic and Bariatric Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), and we are committed to providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population of post-surgical patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in education and performance improvement activities to stay up-to-date on best practices and provide quality service to our customers
• Mentor and support new staff members to help them develop their skills and confidence

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience: Six months of acute care experience preferred
• Licensure/Certifications: RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start; BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
• Preferred Certifications: CMSRN: Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse; CBN: Certified Bariatric Nurse; CNN: Certified Nephrology Nurse; HNC: Holistic Nursing Certified; MSN RN-BC: Medical Surgical Nurse RN Board Certified
