The Patient Accounts and Customer Services Representative position is a critical role within our Patient Financial Services department. As a representative, you will be responsible for supporting the reduction of Accounts Receivables, assisting patients with their bills or other financial aspects of their care, and performing a variety of duties including correspondence response, billing and re-billing, and denial issues. You will work under limited supervision to determine liability on patient accounts and collaborate with patients or their representatives to provide financial assistance or secure payment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will also need to be highly organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
