Job Summary

As a Merchandiser for Heartland Coca-Cola, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Coca-Cola beverage products are stocked and presented in retail accounts to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and replenishing products in store shelves, managing backroom inventory, building and maintaining product displays, and communicating effectively with the sales team and store personnel. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and replenish products in store shelves, racks, displays, and coolers, ensuring that product deliveries are fully worked and that the sales floor is always well-stocked.
• Build, change, or remove product displays according to company standards, ensuring that product signage is maintained and that the product space is clean and free of damaged or defective products.
• Manage backroom inventory by organizing products, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting any issues to the account manager. Utilize FIFO training to ensure timely sales of product.
• Evaluate and process damaged product, re-pack product as necessary, and organize backroom materials. Complete any required paperwork and ensure weekly rotation of front-stock and back-stock.
• Communicate effectively with the sales team and store personnel through the Teams app, posting recaps and pictures immediately after servicing accounts, and addressing any customer concerns or out-of-stock issues.
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive brand image.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or GED, although not strictly required, is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of work experience in a related field such as grocery, retail, warehouse, or manual labor.
• To be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
• A valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and a driving record within company guidelines, including no major violations within the last three years.
• A personal vehicle for use during working hours.
• The ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire.
• Basic computer application and technology skills, including knowledge of how to operate a smartphone and/or laptop.
• Flexibility with work hours, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays due to customer demand.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using equipment such as pallet jacks and high loader lifts.
• Experience in a similar merchandising or sales role within the beverage industry.
