Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate and prepare patient itemized bills in the required formats for internal and external audits.
- Extract and enter necessary information from and to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity.
- Make phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain required patient information, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Run and create reports, analyzing data to inform decision-making and drive project progress.
- Assist with information gathering and data entry as needed by the recovery team, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to support colleagues.
- Scan and index documents, maintaining organized and easily accessible records.
- Perform other project associate-related duties as required, demonstrating a flexible and proactive approach.

- A strong foundation in data entry, medical records, or a related field, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.

- The ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between remote and in-office work (2/3 days on/off mix).

- Familiarity with billing and coding processes, as well as revenue cycle management.
