Position Overview
We're looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Marketing Assistant to collaborate with our founder and support the development of our marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Assistant, you'll be responsible for the following key areas:
- Social Media Setup & Management:
- Collaborate with the founder to define social media strategies and goals.
- Set up and manage profiles on TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create and schedule engaging content for each platform, ensuring alignment with the company's brand voice and style.
- Monitor engagement metrics and provide updates on platform growth.
- Content Creation:
- Brainstorm and develop content ideas for social media, blogs, and email marketing.
- Write and edit blog posts, ensuring they are optimized for SEO and fit the brand's tone and voice.
- Repurpose content across platforms to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Email Campaigns:
- Assist with the setup of email campaigns using platforms such as Brevo, Mailchimp, Sendgrid.
- Help design email templates and collaborate on email content ideas.
- Monitor performance of email campaigns and suggest optimizations as needed.
- Additional Support:
- Conduct research on digital marketing trends and travel industry insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Provide updates and feedback on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Other projects as required.
Qualifications
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications:
- Interest or experience in digital marketing, especially in the travel or tech industries.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong writing skills with a focus on content creation and editing.
- Experience with basic design tools like Canva and Figma or similar tools.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms is a bonus.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and an ability to manage your own workflow.
- Bonus: Experience with SEO, social media analytics, PR, customer research, or video editing.
Location and Hours
We're a remote team, and we're open to discussing flexible arrangements that suit your needs. We're looking for a Marketing Assistant to work 5-10 hours per week, with the possibility of future projects as the company grows.
Duration and Compensation
This is a 1-month contract, with the possibility of future projects. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour.
