Key Responsibilities
- Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
- Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise
- Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate to ensure timely and effective resolution
- Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments in a professional and courteous manner
- Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Provide feedback on call issues to help improve our customer service processes and procedures
- Upsell products or services when required, in a way that is respectful and beneficial to the customer
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively
- 6 months of customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent
- Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong oral and written communication skills and logical problem-solving skills
- Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems, and ability to navigate multiple software applications
- Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical-related field, with a strong understanding of healthcare terminology and concepts
- Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical skills, including experience with CRM software and other customer service-related technologies
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
Work from Home Requirements
To work from home as a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will need to meet the following requirements:
