- Performing pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug treatment reviews, check, and medicine management
- Reviewing, interpreting, and accurately administering prescribed medications when required by responsibility
- Ensuring the pharmacy operates as per regulations, organization policies and standards
- Helping pharmacy administrator with laying out methodology that promotes the effective workflow of the pharmacy including assigning roles, scheduling activities, and requesting colleague ideas
Essential Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states inside the region
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant state and federal controlled substance regulations
- Certified Immunizer or able to become an immunizer in at least 90 days of recruit
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and check, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance
