The Fundraising Specialist and Donations Data Entry role is a critical position within our Development team, responsible for supporting the successful implementation of fundraising activities to achieve organization goals. This includes comprehensive database oversight and maintenance, special event coordination, donor outreach, and a wide variety of fund-development needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fundraising or project organization, with a strong background in database management and a passion for building relationships with donors and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, fundraising, database management, or a related field. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in fundraising or project organization is required, with experience in Raiser’s Edge database management (preferably at the expert level). The ability to understand internal business processes and how they relate to functionality within Raiser’s Edge and database best practices is essential.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with current and potential business partners. Experience with online giving and software platforms such as GiveSmart, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, or other comparable programs is also required.
