Job Summary
As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately entering customer service orders into our service software platform. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that all orders are verified for accuracy and are ready to be performed in a timely and efficient manner. You will support multiple branch locations and collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and Validate Customer Orders: Review approved quotes returned by customers for accuracy, exercising discretion and judgment in assessing their validity.
- Set Up New Customer Contracts: Set up new customer contracts in our service trade software based on approved quotes.
- Assign Service Lines and Assets: Assign service lines to contracts as required and verify customer assets as needed for jobs.
- Verify Customer Information: Verify customer tax status and contract details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Collaborate with the sales team to request required documentation as needed.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures: Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure all data is entered both with consistency and in compliance with approved standard practices.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
Education and Experience
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or GED is required. An associate degree in business or supply chain management is desirable, while a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience is a plus.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years of office experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field.
