Job Summary
As a Remote Pet Insurance Licensed Customer Service Representative (LCSR) at blithequark, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with pet owners and providing personalized support to help them navigate our pet insurance plans. You'll educate customers about our policies, recommend suitable plans, and ensure a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop Product Expertise: Learn and operate as an expert on blithequark's pet health insurance plans, understanding key features and options to recommend the best plan for pet parents.
- Master Internal and External Technologies: Learn and operate within blithequark and our third-party insurance partner's internal and external technologies to provide a consistent customer experience.
- Handle Customer Inquiries: Answer inbound contacts and place outbound follow-ups from potential customers who have expressed interest in our pet insurance policies.
- Provide Policy Information: Offer detailed information about our policies, coverage options, and address any questions or objections customers may have.
- Consultative Approach: Utilize a consultative approach to effectively probe, identify, recommend, and enroll appropriate insurance plans to customers to meet their specific needs.
- Maintain Call Control: Guide the conversation towards successful enrollment utilizing an enrollment-based framework.
- Present Policy Value: Present the value of our pet insurance policies to emphasize the benefits they offer.
- Overcome Objections: Utilize information discovered during the consultative process to overcome objections and convert them into insurance enrollments.
- Accurate Enrollment: Accurately enroll pets in policies, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
- Meet and Exceed Targets: Meet and exceed enrollment targets and objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Use creativity and critical thinking skills to research, problem-solve, and determine appropriate solutions for customers and follow up as needed to resolve issues.
- Customer-Centric Culture: Consistently offer understanding, active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and Team Members.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer service conversion-based role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding conversion targets.
- Consultative Skills: Strong consultative conversion skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Insurance License: Required to have and maintain a Property & Casualty Insurance license in your home state.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Active Listening: Ability to actively listen, understand customer needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Familiarity with Pet Insurance: Familiarity with the insurance industry, particularly pet insurance, is a plus.
- Quality and Productivity: Proven track record of quality, productivity, and the ability to understand customers' needs.
- Objection Handling: Strong ability to handle objections and turn them into opportunities.
- Positive Attitude: Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Multi-Tasking: Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment without missing details or cutting corners.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as needed.

- Pet Industry Experience: Experience working in the pet industry or a related field.
- Insurance Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and pet insurance products.
- Sales Experience: Experience in a sales or conversion-based role.
