We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Sr. Gear Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our crew across all disciplines, identifying workflow inefficiencies, and developing solutions to enhance team performance. You will collaborate with our Art, Design, and Engineering teams to generate candidate answers, weigh tradeoffs, and implement selected solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us create high-quality games that exceed our players' expectations.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong passion for empowering others to do their best work. You should enjoy working with the overall device lifecycle, from coming across issues to evaluating the effectiveness of implemented tools. Additionally, you should have experience with custom standalone gear and be capable of growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines.
While not required, experience with custom game engines, Unreal or Unity, JavaScript, and Net tech would be highly desirable. If you have a strong foundation in software engineering and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply.
