Key Responsibilities
- Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks, including updating customer information and processing transactions
- Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade products and services, meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Explain and position products and processes with customers, highlighting features and benefits
- Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction to the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction
- Ensure first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, minimizing the need for follow-up calls
Candidate Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Windows operating system
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues, resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
- An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
- Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team orientation and customer focus, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a contact center environment
- Experience with sales and upselling products and services
- Knowledge of industry-specific products and services
- Certifications or training in customer service, sales, or related fields

Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment, although you will be working from home. You will be required to:
- Sit and/or stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset
- Operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer
- Occasionally move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds
