Key Responsibilities
- Taking in-bound calls to assist with credit-related memberships, services, and product offerings, and advocating for solutions that help consumers improve their creditworthiness
- Helping consumers understand credit bureau processes and educating them on appropriate steps to request corrections
- Receiving customer requests for assistance, identifying support needed, and either providing help or forwarding requests to the appropriate functional area
- Utilizing excellent communication skills to interpret and respond to customer requests, and putting yourself in the customer's perspective to deliver personalized support
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- High-speed internet service (minimum 25 mbps download/ 5 mbps upload)
- Experience interpreting and responding to customer requests, with the ability to empathize with customers
- Comfort using a computer to perform operations, with basic technical skills and familiarity with software applications
- A high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of customer service experience
- Flexibility to work remotely, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort with remote training, using your computer's webcam, and participating in video conferencing
- Able to pass a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, credit check, and a drug screen
