Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Store Associate for Aetna, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential customer issues
- Focusing on the customer by giving a warm and pleasant greeting, maintaining eye contact, and assisting customers in finding additional products, when needed
- Correctly carrying out cashier duties, handling cash, tests, and credit card transactions with precision while following agency guidelines and techniques
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing records, and completing stock control responsibilities as directed by the store manager
- Assisting with opening and closing store activities, when needed
- Presenting customer support to all departments, such as photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying current with all up-to-date services and equipment
- Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including operating daily shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and professional development
- Embracing and advocating for new CVS offerings and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- At least 16 years of age
- Physical requirements: standing for extended periods, lifting and exerting up to 35 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force regularly, and negligible force often to transport items to and from, including overhead lifting
- Visual acuity: having close visual acuity to perform tasks consisting of viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection concerning small elements/information

While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- Education: high school degree or equivalent preferred but not required
