**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and chat, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner
* Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions
* Accurately document customer interactions, including notes and data entry, to ensure seamless follow-up and issue resolution

**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment; experience in a remote work setting a plus
* Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer populations
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with CRM software a plus
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a similar customer service role for a transportation or government agency
* Familiarity with NYC Transit Authority's Access-a-Ride program or similar transportation services
* Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
* Experience with data entry, reporting, and analytics tools
* Fluency in multiple languages, including Spanish, Chinese, or other languages commonly spoken in the NYC area
