Position Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work remotely, providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering inbound calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, and more
- Providing exceptional customer experiences, ensuring every caller receives personalized and efficient support
- Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not permitted)
- Participating in a comprehensive training program (first 6 weeks) and ongoing development opportunities
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding to member and provider inquiries via telephone, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Providing information on benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, and other related topics
- Utilizing computer systems and software to access and update member information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement
- Maintaining a high level of productivity, meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with callers and provide personalized support
- Self-sufficiency and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- High-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable
- Living within 50 miles of Princeton, NJ
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working remotely in a call center setting
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
