About the Role
As a Content Specialist, you’ll support the creation and distribution of multimedia
content across MCJ’s channels, including podcasts, social media, newsletters and
the web. You’ll play a supportive role in producing the Inevitable podcast, while also
helping craft written and visual content that engages our various audiences.
Responsibilities
• Support end-to-end podcast production
• Review, edit, and summarize podcast show notes, optimizing for readability
and SEO
• Write short-form copy for newsletters, social posts, and web content
• Create and publish multimedia assets across channels like LinkedIn, YouTube,
X, Instagram, and TikTok
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to plan and execute content
calendars and distribution strategies
• Monitor analytics to inform future performance and audience engagement
Skills & Experience
• Strong writing and editing skills; ability to craft engaging copy across
multiple channels
• Experience with podcast production tools (e.g., Riverside, Descript, or
similar) is a plus
• Basic video and audio editing for web and social
• Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of social media management, analytics, and SEO best
practices
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple
projects and deadlines
• Familiarity with AI tooling for content
Compensation
$30/hour (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
