Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain communication systems for public sector projects, including municipalities, airports, and facilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of communication technologies in various infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement system designs, requirement specifications, and algorithmic developments
- Conduct system performance simulation, benchmarking, and testing
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for communication systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in communication systems engineering
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communication systems engineering, preferably in public sector projects
- Strong expertise in telecommunications, networking, and system integration
- Experience designing communication systems, including CCTV, PA systems, WiFi, and backbone infrastructure (including fiber optic)
- Experience with system design and requirement specification, algorithmic development, simulation, implementation, and testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field
- Experience working with architectural or engineering firms
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards
- Experience with cloud-based communication systems and cybersecurity
- Certifications in communication systems engineering, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP
