Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent veterinary care to patients, including obtaining medical histories, performing laboratory tests, and assisting with surgeries and dental procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners, including educating them on pet care and communicating test results
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including electronic medical records
- Collaborate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in the training and development of new staff members and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements:
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician with a college or college-equivalent education
- At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate and sympathetic with a professional attitude and demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 30 pounds
