Senior Accounting Analyst (100% Remote)

IDR is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join one of our top healthcare clients in Sacramento, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to contribute to a leading healthcare system’s finance organization. Responsibilities • Lead and manage accounting functions across general ledger, banking, projects, and fixed assets. • Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close. • Analyze financial results, identify trends or variances, and communicate insights effectively to leadership. • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external reporting standards. • Support the Workday ERP implementation by validating data, assisting in testing, and contributing to process improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of recent and relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably within a healthcare or multi-entity environment. • Strong foundation in accounting principles with a deep understanding of GAAP. • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis). • Experience with ERP systems; Workday experience preferred.
