Remote Sr. Accountant position - 5-10 hrs monthly

We are a consulting firm in search of a part time/contract Sr. Accountant who has strong accounting and bookkeeping experience. This is a remote position. This position is a p/t contract position that will start out at up to 10 hours per month. Although this is a part time position, the candidate must have some availability during operating business hours. If you have a full time job and would only be available during weeknights and weekends this position is not for you. Must have good communication skills, analytical skills and be a team player. Must have 7+ years as a Sr. Accountant and 5+ years of Quickbooks Experience. Must have a strong understanding of what clean financial reports look like, how to close out a month and the ability to review a bookkeeper's work. The owner is the founder and has run this firm for 20 years. She is also a homeschool mom and a believer in homeschool friendly jobs. Please share your story in the cover letter. Role Description This is a contract remote role for a Part-time Sr. Accountant. The role involves reviewing financial reports and overseeing month end close. Assist bookkeeper's with accounting questions and troubleshooting. Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills is a must. Must be proficient in Excel for financial data management.
