Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN
About the position Responsibilities • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. • Anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, modifying care plans as necessary. • Advocate for patients, ensuring informed consent and supporting self-determination. • Mentor colleagues and manage interpersonal relationships within the nursing team. • Assume accountability for patient care while delegating tasks appropriately. • Seek out and apply current evidence and standards to nursing practice. • Communicate effectively across various formats and partner with others to effect positive change. Requirements • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required. • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience, or Associate Degree (ADN) with 2 years of experience. • Licensed Registered Nurse with NH eligibility. • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire. • ACLS Certificate required for specific units. Nice-to-haves • Knowledge or experience in OBGYN/Women's Health is preferred but not required.
