Job Description: Open Metadata expert Mode of Work - Hybrid Location - ( Irving TX, Tampa FL, Rutherford NJ) W2 /One man corp only - NO 3rd party contracting Metadata Strategy and Implementation: Develop and implement metadata management strategies, including defining metadata standards, naming conventions, and business definitions in line with organizational policies. Metadata Creation and Enrichment: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of metadata across multiple platforms and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Data Discovery and Governance: Facilitate data discovery by improving metadata quality and consistency, and support data governance initiatives through metadata management. Data Lineage and Impact Analysis: Assist in defining and managing data lineage, identifying relationships between data elements across systems, and supporting impact analysis. Training and Support: Provide training and support to teams on metadata tools and best practices, promoting a data-centric culture within the organization. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and technology teams to ensure alignment on metadata management practices and drive data stewardship About Iris Software Inc.
