The Line Service Technician position at Galaxy FBO plays a crucial role in supporting all ground operations involving inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews, and passengers. This full-time position requires dedicated individuals who are capable of managing various duties related to aircraft fueling, servicing, and handling in compliance with stringent safety and quality control standards. The role demands hands-on involvement in aircraft marshaling, towing, and ensuring secure parking, alongside operating multiple vehicles such as fuel trucks and golf carts. Furthermore, the technician is responsible for performing essential manual tasks including aircraft cleaning and maintenance of flight line areas, which must be kept free of foreign object debris (FOD). Communication is a key element of this role, as the technician must effectively coordinate activities using two-way radios and interact professionally with clients, pilots, and team members. Candidates are expected to possess a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and preferably experience with aviation software like TotalFBO and FlightBridge. The position also requires the flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and the ability to handle customer service demands with poise and problem-solving skills. Working independently yet collaboratively within a team environment, the Line Service Technician contributes critically to the safe and efficient operation of the FBO, ensuring that all fueling records and paperwork are accurately maintained and that all equipment is in ideal working condition.
