We are looking for a dependable Supervisor on our 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri to help oversee the departmental operations at our North Las Vegas, NV warehouse. The Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for associates to provide guidance and training on departmental policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Act as supervisor in a specific department with ability to flex to other departments as neededProvide Start of shift and End of shift reportsOversee the quality of associates work, provide any needed assistance to meet product quality, productivity goals and safety opportunitiesConduct consistent coaching and counseling meetings with associatesLead assigned associates on shift to meet productivity and efficiency targetsConduct accuracy and quality audits by verifying product quantity and qualityComplete tasks as assigned and resolve day-to-day problemsTrain and cross train new employees in various job functionsPerform and support all job requirements as directed by managerFacilitate team building exercises and activities to boost associates moraleAssist with daily sync meetings and weekly leadership meetingsDocument coaching and development conversationsEvaluates associates performance, issues corrective and disciplinary actions as requiredPromote a positive work environment through excellent verbal communication,listening, and promoting company standardsEnsure the safety of all team members by teaching, promoting and exemplifying safety guidelinesAll other duties assigned by management.Labor tracking and planning of assigned associatesAttendance tracking of assigned associatesCoaching associates on product quality and audit proceduresCompleting of standard work checklistTime off approvals and weekly time submission for assigned associates Qualifications
High school diploma or GED3+ years people management experienceAccurate and detail orientedWilling to take and follow directionsLeadership skillsOrganized, hardworking, dependable, and punctualProficient in Microsoft ExcelAbility to engage employees with a welcoming approach, while also having the ability to conduct a constructive conversation with employees without making them feel unheard/underappreciatedPrevious warehouse strongly preferredBilingual strongly preferred Physical Demands
