Volunteer: Configure Automated Monthly QuickBooks Budget Report

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Help us automate a monthly budget report! Identify and configure a QuickBooks Online reporting add-on or create a custom report that pulls actuals from QBO and compares them to a non-equal (seasonal) monthly budget. Deliverable can be an app recommendation with setup steps or a reusable report/template and brief instructions. Accurate, seasonally-adjusted monthly reporting will help Gorton Center plan programming and allocate resources across performances, classes, and community events. Volunteers will strengthen our financial planning and transparency, directly supporting Gorton’s mission to be a vibrant gathering place for arts, learning, and connection. We have moved to QuickBooks Online and can provide our chart of accounts, the annual budget with monthly spreads, and sample transactions. Volunteers will collaborate with our staff lead in regular check-ins to map accounts, validate outputs, and deliver a working report or app configuration.
