Job Summary

As a Remote Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our client's pharmacy operations. You will work independently to triage requests from providers and members, enter authorizations and test claims into the pharmacy benefit system, and perform system edits and data entry. This is a 6+ month contract position, offering a competitive salary and the flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage requests from providers and/or members/members representatives for pharmacy prior authorizations, exceptions, and appeals
• Enter authorizations and test claims into the pharmacy benefit system to ensure accurate claim adjudication
• Perform system edits, data entry, and complete tracking logs
• Assist with departmental audits and quality improvement activities
• Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills

Essential Qualifications:

• National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy benefit systems and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
