As a Territory Sales Representative at WEX, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and growth for our market-leading payment product. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new accounts for our fleet card programs across the Northeast. We are seeking dynamic, results-oriented sales professionals who are adept at generating strong leads, prospecting, and identifying opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with exceptional discovery and presentation skills, along with a strong track record in closing sales. We are looking for individuals who reside in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusettsand Rhode Island. Travel for this role is 50-75%.
As a "Hunter" in this role, the RSM will take on the primary responsibility of identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within the territory. Key responsibilities include:
Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs (net cards, gallons, revenue)
Develop a strategic plan for territory expansion in collaboration with your sales manager
Self-generate leads and build a robust pipeline of fleet opportunities
Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills
3-5 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record in client acquisition
Demonstrated consistent quota performance in a business-to-business sales environment
Strong prospect-channel identification, development, and qualification skills
High degree of territory management capability
Successful completion of a background investigation
Industry knowledge in fleet management and or commercial payments
