Job Summary
As a Temporary Tutor (PALS), you will be responsible for providing individualized tutoring assistance to students within a specific discipline area of expertise. Your duties will include:
- Conducting tutoring sessions with individual or multiple students in person and virtual environments
- Providing constructive feedback and suggestions on student assignments
- Creating an engaging learning environment and enhancing student confidence and interest in learning
- Maintaining an awareness of current College and department policies and guidelines
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Key Responsibilities
As a Temporary Tutor (PALS), you will be expected to:
- Deliver high-quality tutoring services that meet the needs of students
- Develop and implement effective learning strategies to support student success
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to build relationships and manage customer expectations

Essential Qualifications

- A high school diploma or GED
