Technical Lead (Java)

ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office is looking for a Technical Lead (Java) in Argentina.

ABOUT PROJECT

We’re initiating a collaboration with a telecommunications operator on a project focused on developing payment and authentication solutions for marketplace clients.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience leading a development team of 5 or more members

Hands-on development experience using a Java framework

Experience in system design and creating design documentation in English for Java applications

Proficient in Java coding for system development

Experience with testing (Unit Test, Integration Test, and System Test), including test case creation and execution for Java applications

Experience with GitLab for source control and development workflows

Ability to proactively manage and track tasks, and regularly share updates on assignments and progress

Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience developing systems related to authorization or payment processing

Experience leading a development team of 10 or more members

Experience in system development using AWS

Experience in system development using OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications

Lead QA efforts as necessary to ensure project quality and successful delivery

Manage a team of developers, providing guidance and task assignments

Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones

Implement and enforce quality assurance practices to maintain high standards in deliverables

Collaborate closely with stakeholders and serve as the key communication bridge between teams
