About the Opportunity
This is a student worker position that offers the chance to support the SNHU mission by providing critical administrative assistance to our Online Academic Support team. As an Academic Support Analyst Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our student-facing services, including tutoring, coaching, and resource allocation. The position is fully remote, offering a flexible schedule that averages 10 hours per week, and is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience while pursuing your studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Academic Support inbox by drafting and responding to email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and distribute emails as necessary in the Academic Coach and Peer Tutoring email box to ensure seamless communication.
- Prepare various communications, including memos, reports, and other correspondence as needed to support the team's operations.
- Oversee Workshop scheduling, including posting availability, changing sessions, and updating coach and peer tutor scheduling as required.
- Compile and maintain weekly data reporting for the Academic Support team, gathering data from multiple platform resources to inform decision-making.
- Submit escalation tickets for the Academic Support platform as needed to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain an accurate tracking system in SharePoint of escalation tickets with resolution details to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- Ensure the accuracy and availability of SharePoint events and libraries, playing a key role in the management of our digital resources.
- Perform other administrative support tasks as assigned to contribute to the team's success.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a current SNHU Global Campus Student, actively engaged in your academic journey.
- Have completed at least five SNHU courses with a successful outcome, boasting a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, punctuality, reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
- Be available to work some shift hours during Monday-Friday, 8-4:30 time frame, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Prior experience with administrative duties, particularly in email correspondence and data entry, which can enhance your performance in this role.
