YOU ARE: This position is a hybrid position, and our Senior Data Analyst will be required to come on site at times. As a successful candidate for this role, you will have a passion for and be highly proficient in data analysis tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, data extraction tools such as SQL, a background in information systems and 3+ years’ relevant experience with a public company or large corporation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for analyzing financial data and preparing reports that aide in determining and maintaining accurate financial records and/or other financial activities within our organization.
Responsibilities
• Support the design, execution, and monitoring of Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs)
• Manage and review User Access Controls, including user provisioning, access reviews, and segregation of duties.
• Utilize data analytics to identify control gaps, trends, and risks within financial and information technology processes.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests related to Information Technology General Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Partner with information technology and business stakeholders to remediate control deficiencies and improve control design.
• Work with Workday to support access controls, reporting, and control-related activities.
Requirements
• 3 years' experience in a data analytical function
• Experience with User Access Controls and Information Technology General Control monitoring activities.
• Experience in data analytics within a finance, audit, or internal controls environment.
• Strong understanding of Information Technology General Controls frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal control concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in areas related to access management, reporting, or control activities.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
