As a Senior Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving success and leveraging brand channels to create impactful social content.

About the Team and the Role

The Designit team is part of a larger ecosystem that comprises 170 innovative products and services, including Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and SQL Server. As a Senior Social Media Manager, you will work closely with other Senior Social Media Managers, Microsoft Blog and Social Leads, and Agency partners to align workstreams such as analytics, blog, copy and creative, events, announcements, YouTube, and community management. Your primary focus will be on managing content briefs, content calendars, and administration, while also contributing to strategic planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify content opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders and teams
• Oversee the management of monthly organic content briefs and contribute to paid campaign recommendations
• Manage and own the editorial calendar, approving stakeholders' content requests and inputting monthly content calendar requests into Sprinklr
• Proactively communicate with Community Management for engagement opportunities with key audiences, including user-generated content, retweets, GIFs, and surprise and delight engagement opportunities
• Contribute to monthly analytics reports, including social listening, and help with meeting organization and facilitation internally and with Microsoft
• Support annual planning motions and deck creation, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and teams

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 6+ years of social marketing experience, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and the digital marketing landscape
• Experience working with stakeholders to define strategy around organic and paid campaigns, including content and audience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams, as well as experience working with Sprinklr
• A strategic and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work closely and successfully with clients and stakeholders
• Experience in software, app, or other code-based development, with an understanding of the Developer audience and culture

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

• Microsoft experience, with a deep understanding of the company's products and services
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a 'can-do' attitude and a passion for learning and growth
• First-hand knowledge of Developers, coding, and the Dev audience and culture, either through professional experience or passion projects

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
