About the Role
As a Senior Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Last Mile package forecasting and carrier capacity planning. Your primary objective will be to drive functional excellence through accurate package volume projections, down to the lowest level of granularity. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including operational teams, network planning and S&OP teams, carrier partners, and other HQ and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex data to inform Last Mile package forecasting and carrier capacity planning decisions
- Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align carrier package capacity with ship-to-home demand plans
- Drive operational excellence through data-driven insights and recommendations
- Communicate complex data insights effectively to various stakeholders, including operational teams and senior leadership
- Develop and track key performance metrics to measure progress and drive results
- Stay adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on driving innovative solutions to emerging challenges
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A four-year degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as logistics, operations, or data analysis
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a strong understanding of data analysis principles and practices
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, in a large-scale, complex business environment
- Experience working with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop and Hive
