Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Scoping, designing, and building scalable, resilient distributed systems to support the company's growing customer base
- Building product definitions and leveraging technical skills to drive towards the right solution, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Engaging in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle, including testing, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of critical solutions
- Leading design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- Defining, creating, and supporting reusable application components and patterns from a business and technology perspective, to enhance efficiency and reduce redundancy
- Utilizing developer tooling and a variety of Azure tools and services across the software development life cycle, to perform advanced-level Java application design, implementation, and maintenance activities under minimal direction
- Mentoring other engineers and consistently sharing best practices to improve processes within and across teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages, such as Java, C++, Python, or C#, including object-oriented design
- A strong understanding of web service integration (REST/SOAP) and enterprise middleware integration tiers (Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot)
- Experience using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with preferred experience in Flutter and React
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead projects from the front and interact with clients and sponsors on a regular basis
- Experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems, with a focus on reliability, scaling, and performance
- An advanced understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud architecture, with experience in continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
- A strong problem-solving ability, with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle, including task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication, and testing
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with Salesforce standard objects/records, custom object creation, validation rules, and relationships
- Knowledge of building and configuring flows, and process builders
- Experience with Salesforce Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Aura / LWC components
- Familiarity with Salesforce CDP
- Experience working with enterprise integrations utilizing Event-Based Frameworks
- Knowledge of databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle
Education and Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
- At least 4+ years of professional software development experience with at least two modern languages, including object-oriented design
- 3+ years of experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
