Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced School Social Worker to provide virtual counseling and support services to K-12 students in Pennsylvania. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to address student needs and promote academic and social success. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, with 2-3 days of work per week, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Virtual Counseling and Support: Provide virtual counseling sessions to K-12 students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to help students overcome barriers to academic and social success.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Pennsylvania school administrators, teachers, and families to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assessments and Interventions: Conduct assessments and provide interventions aligned with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active licensure as a School Social Worker in Pennsylvania.
- Professional Educators License: Professional Educators License in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school or virtual setting.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Technical Requirements: Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual communication tools.
