Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Engineering Society of Queen's University is seeking a Business and Operations Director for Science Quest. The role involves financial management, operational oversight, and collaboration with other directors to ensure the success of Science Quest programs.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the annual budget in consultation with the Science Quest Head Director
- Updating actuals throughout the operating year
- Working with the other Science Quest Directors to prepare and submit yearly financial plans for the Advisory Board
- Completing month-end reports for all months of operation
- Completing all daily business duties including the creation of receipts, deposits and cheque requisitions
- Ensuring payroll is entered properly for all staff
- Handling childcare and camp forms during camp operations
- Completing all room bookings for Science Quest operations
- Overseeing the operations of the lunch and bus programs during camp
Skills
