As a QA Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software development lifecycle and delivering exceptional results to our clients.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced QA Project Manager to lead our quality assurance team and drive the development of comprehensive testing strategies. As a QA Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure high performance and productivity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, processes, and plans to ensure timely delivery and high-quality software products
- Managing test strategy, test schedule, test plan, and test design review, and ensuring resource planning and utilization
- Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and constraints for testing, and establishing quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Analyzing and reporting software defects, issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and metrics
- Regularly reporting on testing progress, challenges, and outcomes to project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA Project Management, with an overall experience of 8 years in quality assurance
- Proven experience in establishing and defining end-to-end testing strategies, including test planning, test reporting, testing and defect tracking, and resource planning and allocation
- Knowledge of Test Management principles, methodologies, and tools, as well as project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle from a QA perspective
- Experience with Microsoft programs, including Azure, and familiarity with DevOps and agile methodology
- PMP certification is a plus, and knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
