Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with blithequark members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing an outstanding experience through exceptional service and building trust.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in various situations, ensuring empathetic resolution and accurate information.
- Handle customer concerns effectively, utilizing available resources and maintaining records of all interactions and changes.
- Confidentially handle policy owner information, ensuring compliance and communication standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience.
- Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies.
- High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred.
- Internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload, and the ability to support a VPN.
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance/call center experience.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products.
- Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework.
