Position Overview We are actively seeking a meticulous, self‑motivated Remote Long‑Term Care Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our growing remote workforce. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our prescription processing pipeline, ensuring that every medication order, refill, and medical record is entered accurately, securely, and in compliance with industry standards. Your work will directly influence the health outcomes of thousands of seniors across multiple states. Key Highlights Location: 100% remote (must reside in a state where Worknovaq is licensed) Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend coverage (every other Saturday/Sunday) Industry: Long‑Term Care Pharmacy, Senior‑Living & Post‑Acute Care Employment Type: Full‑time, employee‑owned environment Core Responsibilities As a Data Entry Technician, you will be entrusted with a broad spectrum of duties that blend technical precision with outstanding customer service. Your daily activities will include, but are not limited to: Contacting physicians’ offices to obtain refill authorizations and clarifications in a timely manner. Reaching out to client facilities for verification of orders, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete before processing. Processing new prescriptions and refills, entering each entry into the Hirecrafto pharmacy management system with strict adherence to accuracy standards. Opening medication orders, verifying patient eligibility, confirming dosage appropriateness, and inputting data while meeting productivity benchmarks. Documenting all correspondence—phone calls, emails, and system notes—in the electronic health record (EHR) to maintain a transparent audit trail. Compiling audit sheets, reviewing them for compliance, and providing actionable feedback to supervisors and managers. Escalating incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate internal department, tracking resolution status, and ensuring closure. Assisting with the investigation of lost or missing orders upon request from internal teams, employing analytical skills to locate and reconcile gaps. Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups during peak production periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Answering inbound calls from clients, physicians, and internal personnel with a high level of professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – foundational education required. Active Pharmacy Technician license and certification (CPhT) in accordance with the licensing requirements of the state of residence. Minimum one (1) year of experience in pharmacy data entry, preferably within a long‑term care setting. Proficiency with Tasknexa’s core pharmacy platforms, specifically Frameworks LTC ; familiarity with Docutrack is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to align with operational demands. Strong knowledge of brand and generic medication names, dosage forms, and common medical terminology. Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven track record of maintaining high data integrity under tight deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to healthcare providers and client staff. Preferred Experience & Skills Prior experience in long‑term care pharmacy environments, understanding of senior‑living medication workflows, and familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare billing nuances. Hands‑on experience with additional pharmacy software (e.g., Medi‑Serve, Pyxis, or similar). Demonstrated analytical abilities to identify trends in prescription errors and propose process improvements. Experience delivering training or mentorship to new team members in a remote setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic data‑analysis functions.
