We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security Manager to join our team at American Express Global Business Travel. As a key member of our Cyber GRC Security team, you will play a critical role in providing expert consultation and relationship management to support our clients' information security needs. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting pre-sales and post-sales security requests, leading and enhancing our global portfolio of information security support services, and partnering with key business leaders, project teams, and customers. Your expertise will be essential in creating and documenting information security processes, responding to customer security assessments and audits, and representing the company during customer security engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a deep understanding of our computing environments, security controls, policies, and procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners on information and application security matters
- Draft responses to security questionnaires, whitepapers, and other documentation to support customer-facing security requests
- Stay up-to-date with the evolving security landscape and provide expert guidance on security best practices and industry standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001/2, NIST Cybersecurity, PCI DSS)
- Evaluate customer security requirements and recommend solutions to enhance information systems security
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (IT/Security preferred)
- 7+ years of relevant technology experience, with a strong background in information security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong leadership skills, with experience working effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Familiarity with security frameworks, practices, and technologies, as well as solid business acumen and analytical skills
