Podcast Audio Editor Needed for True Crime Series (8 Episodes – Ongoing Potential)
I’m launching a narrative true-crime podcast called Case Files After Crime — The 973 Division, and I’m looking for a skilled audio editor who can help bring the episodes to life with clean, immersive sound design.
What I Need:
• Clean, polished editing of recorded narration
• Removal of breaths, background noise, and mistakes
• Seamless pacing that matches a dramatic, storytelling tone
• Integration of intro/outro music (I’ll provide the audio)
• Light sound design where appropriate (subtle tension beds, transitions, effects — nothing overpowering)
• Delivery as high-quality WAV + MP3
• Consistent episode sound across the season
Each episode ranges between 10–20 minutes.
Deliverables:
• 1 fully edited episode at a time
• A revision round for pacing/tone adjustments
• Optional ongoing work if we’re a good match (Season 2 + special cases)
Skills Required:
• Podcast editing experience (true-crime or narrative preferred)
• Strong understanding of pacing, silence, tension, and emotional beats
• Ability to maintain consistent audio levels & professional polish
• Familiarity with sound design (light atmospheric layers)
• Clear communication and reliable turnaround
How I Work:
• I provide recorded narration + script
• I provide intro/outro music
• You edit, mix, and deliver the finished episode
• I give feedback promptly and respectfully
• I value clear communication, honesty, and a collaborative approach
About You:
You’re someone who:
• Knows how to elevate a story with subtle audio choices
• Understands that true crime requires sensitivity AND tension
• Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Is dependable and meets deadlines
